It's A Girl!!!

Introducing Lauren Nicole. Born December 31 at 1219, Lauren weighed 7lbs, 9oz and was 20.5 inches long. We are so blessed and thankful that Shanda and Lauren are healthy and doing well.

Today I was sitting around and Nick looks over at me and says in his sweet little way "you have such thin legs.......... then they lead up to your big belly........you look like Humpty Dumpty!"

Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving Feast!

Jackson's pre-school invited the parents to join them in a thanksgiving feast on thursday. We were excited when we found out each class would do a little skit.  Jackson's class did the story of the littlest turkey.  We knew he would be thrilled to be a hunter because he of course loves anything that includes a gun, but we were shocked to see him deliver lines with no hesitation.  We were very proud!

Happy Birth Day & Happy Veterans Day

Between Halloween and Thanksgiving there are two day we like to observe in our house, The Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day.  So if you have the volume down on your computer crank it up a bit and enjoy the tunes that so motivated my husband while in the Corps (and still today)!!!!!

Megan was not so thrilled at first but she warmed up to the experience!  Aunt Krissy was sweet enough to carry her up to each house so she could get some candy!

Katy loved her costume and was so excited to trot through the neighborhood and would even throw in a horse whinny every once in a while!   She was so cute!!!!

Jackson is anti mask so the costume is a little incomplete but he made up for it in personality!
